On October 2, 2020 in Hanoi, Vedan Vietnam Company was honored as “Typical Enterprise for Employees” in 2019-2020 and honored to receive the Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for having excellent achievements in taking care of employees’ welfares in 2019.
This is a prestigious program chaired by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with the participation of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs in coordination with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and assigned to the Labor Newspaper as an organization of implementation. The ranking is an annual event from 2014 to present, in order to honor enterprises that have made continuous efforts to improve the working environment, take care of employees’ lives, build a harmonious relationship between the interests of enterprises, rights of employees and interests of social interests in order to achieve sustainable development in the process of integration and development.

To achieve this Certificate of Merit, Vedan Vietnam Company has fully met the rigorous evaluation criteria of the Ranking, including: (1) Increase in revenue/profit of enterprise; (2) Employee’s income increases; (3) No debt/no delay in salary of employees; (4) No tax debt; (5) Do not owe social insurance; (6) There is a Trade Union organization for bilateral dialogue; (7) No strike; (8) Pay attention to employee welfare; (9) Training and developing employees’ capacity… The set of criteria gives special points to enterprises that offer higher incentives for employees and better comply with the provisions of the law.

Certificate of Merit is a memorable milestone when Vedan Company is aiming to celebrate 30 years of construction and development in Vietnam (1991 – 2021). With the motto “Development from society – Dedication to society” in which human is the important factor and resource to bring success to the company. In addition to focusing on production development, the welfare of employees is always deeply concerned by the Board of Directors and Vedan Vietnam Grassroots Labor Union through the investment in facilities such as: free dormitory, yard playing sports, shuttle bus… activities to take care of the lives of collectives and employees’ families during each holiday and New Year.
