Every year, on International Children’s Day 1/6, Labor Union of Vedan Vietnam Company organizes a cultural festival and gives gifts to children who are children of the company’s employees. During the “special” summer of this year, due to the influence of the Covid-19 epidemic, in order to ensure health and comply with regulations to limit large gatherings, Vedan Company does not organize a cultural program for employees’ children, but not because of that reason, the attention of the Board of Directors and the Company’s Labor Union for children is hindered. More than 2,040 gifts with a total value of nearly 115 million VND were given to the children by Vedan Vietnam.
As one of the big enterprises in Dong Nai province, Vedan Vietnam has long been a destination for thousands of employees (especially in Bien Hoa, Dong Nai, and HCMC). After nearly 30 years of establishment and development, there are many families who have been with the company for 2-3 generations. Many children from a young age followed their parents to the company to participate in the International Children’s Day or received gifts to reward their academic achievements at the end of the year… then gradually fell in love and after graduation returned to work at the company.
Facing many challenges of the economy when the epidemic is gradually subsided, Vedan Vietnam has been constantly trying its best for production activities and sharing difficulties with people with the motto “Development from society – Dedication to society”.
