International Women’s Day 8-3 is one of the annual festivals at Vedan Vietnam Company. This is a day to praise women who are capable of national affairs and duteous at housework. This year, the Vedan Labor Union mobilized female employees to wear Ao Dai to work in response to the “Vietnam Ao Dai Week” and organized a flower arrangement competition with the theme “Vedan women for 30 years accompanying with the company”. This is also one of a series of activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Vedan Vietnam.
From early morning, Ao Dai of all colors like butterflies fluttering in the wind, all departments are bustling everywhere. The small flower garden with colorful “Vedan 30 năm” words was prepared all Sunday as a surprise gift to the sisters at the main stage area. The competition has 27 teams competing for 60 minutes and then each team will present for 2 minutes for about their work.
Each flower vase is a work with many meanings associated with work and life, following the theme “Vedan women for 30 years accompanying with the company“. All teams comply with regulations that the value of the flower vase does not exceed 400 thousand VND. Each flower vase has its own beauty, but all share moral qualities of Vietnamese women “Self-confidence -Self-esteem – Faithfulness – Resourcefulness.”
In addition to the prizes for the excellent teams, on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Vedan Vietnam, the Labor Union presents each woman with a set of Ao Dai, praising the foreign female cadres working at the company and presenting certificates of merit to 30 female labor union members with achievements in the construction and development of the Vedan labor union since its foundation.
The competition has strengthened the exchange, solidarity … through which departments will support each other in their work, promote production and business activities of the company, and at the same time arouse pride with the process of 30 years of development and development of Vedan Vietnam, thereby igniting the enthusiasm to follow in the footsteps to build the company stronger and stronger.
In 2021, in addition to well implementing the COVID-19 pandemic prevention, ensuring production and business, ensuring incomes for employees … towards the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Vedan Vietnam company, many special internal activities have been successfully organized such as: decorating booths of “Vedan Spring colors”, competition “Writing Tet parallel with Calligraphy master”, “Vedan chess prize” … thereby expressing concerns of the Executive Committee of the Labor Union and the Board of Directors of the company to the employees – continuing the spirit of “Typical enterprise for employees” that Vedan Vietnam has achieved for many consecutive years.
