On June 30, 2020, the 5th Party Congress of Vedan Vietnam Company and the election of the Executive Board for the new term (2020-2025) was solemnly held. Delegates attending the Congress raised their sense of responsibility when seriously discussing and contributing effectively, helping the Congress reach a high consensus with the proposed contents. The Congress was honored to welcome Comrade Ngo The An (Long Thanh District Standing Deputy Secretary) and Mr. Nguyen Van Trong (Commander of the Long Thanh District Military Command) to attend and direct.
Vedan Vietnam is the first foreign-invested enterprise in Long Thanh district (Dong Nai province) established by the District Party Committee in 2001. During the last term of operation, with 3 branches of Party committee and 102 Party members, the Company’s Party Committee has performed well the development of the Party and built strong mass organizations.
According to the report at the Congress, over the past time, the Party Committee has shown its role in accompanying the leadership and working with the company to complete the set goals and tasks. Typically, production and business activities of Vedan Vietnam are still on a stable track after a volatile period due to the Covid-19 epidemic. In the long term, the goal of ensuring political security, order and safety, taking care of the lives of employees in the company continues to be concerned and maintained by the Party Committee, in order to create a foundation for sustainable development of the company.
The Party Congress of Vedan Vietnam Company has summarized and comprehensively evaluated the results achieved from the previous term, drawing lessons from experience; from there, set out goals, directions, tasks and implementation solutions for the coming term. The Congress agreed to elect the Executive Committee of the V term (term of 2020-2025) including 9 comrades, the Standing Committee 3 comrades including: Mr. Pham Trung Thuyen (Secretary), Mr. Nguyen Pham Nhat Duy (Deputy Secretary) and Mr. Dinh Van Cuong (Standing Member).
Together with the labor Union and Youth Union, the Executive Committee of Vedan Company always focuses on political and ideological education, fosters a team of Party members with moral qualities, build a strong mass organization, and at the same time raise awareness, sense of self-observance of laws and company rules of the collective of employees.
