On the occasion of the 69th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2016), responding to the campaign of local authorities at all levels to actively participate in gratitude activities, Vedan Vietnam Company sponsored more than 2 billion VND for the Gratitude Fund in Long Thanh district (Dong Nai), of which sponsored 30 million VND to visit and give gifts to the above policy families in Phuoc Thai and Phuoc Binh communes (Long Thanh district, Dong Nai) and sponsored 2 billion VND to build the Martyrs’ Temple in Phuoc Thai commune.
The martyr temple of Phuoc Thai commune is a place to remember the merits of 117 Vietnamese martyrs and 13 heroic Vietnamese mothers who sacrificed on the land of Phuoc Thai commune in the resistance wars to protect the independence and freedom of the country. This is a historical work invested and built by the local government with the partial contribution of Vedan Vietnam to create good conditions for local people to pay gratitude to martyrs fallen for the independence and freedom of the country, bringing us a peaceful life like today.
At the ceremony, the representative of Vedan Vietnam company, Mr. Tsai Ping Hsuan – deputy director of the President Office, said: This is a cultural and historical work of the people of Phuoc Thai commune, demonstrating the tradition “When drinking water, think of its source”, grateful for the indomitable spirit, brave sacrifice of heroes and martyrs for the independence and freedom of the country. This work is also a place to educate historical traditions, patriotism and love for the homeland of generations. For Vedan Vietnam, with the mission of “Innovating a healthy and delicious life”, the company always actively participates in local social security activities such as giving Tet gifts to families with difficult circumstances, building houses of charity and gratitude, giving scholarships, charity medical examination, sponsoring the Children’s Protection Fund, the Gratitude Fund, environmental protection activities, programs new countryside…with an annual amount of more than 4 billion VND.
