On the occasion of the 12th anniversary: Vietnam Study Promotion Day, October 2, 2020, Dong Nai provincial Study Promotion Association in collaboration with Dong Nai Radio and Television Station and other departments organized the awarding of scholarships “Supporting students with disabilities to overcome difficulties to go to school” for the 9th time and “Support students vocational education and training” for the 3rd time, academic year 2020-2021. This is the 7th year Vedan Vietnam accompanies with Dong Nai provincial Study Promotion Association in training and developing young human resources for the locality.

In the academic year 2020-2021, from donations of benevolent individuals and units, 215 students with disabilities and 68 vocational students with difficult circumstances received scholarships with a total budget of 1,379,000,000 VND. Many typical examples of students with disabilities overcoming difficulties deserve to be commended such as Nguyen Hoang Tinh Tu (Bien Hoa City) whose father is a truck driver, mother sells lottery tickets in a large family; she herself is in a wheelchair, but for 7 consecutive years, she has won the title of excellent student. Nguyen Van Cam (Nhon Trach district), due to the sequelae of polio fever, so his neck is not straight, walking is very difficult, his family is poor; although he goes to school later than friends, he always tries his best to overcome all difficulties and to be a good student for 7 consecutive years. Nguyen Dinh Anh Thu (Long Thanh District) suffers from osteogenesis imperfecta, has difficulty moving but still achieves excellent students in grade 8… After 9 years of operation, the program has always carried a positive message, giving wings to many young dreams, most of them have tried their best in training and studying, achieved good results; some graduated from schools and got a job.

As an enterprise accompanying with the Dong Nai provincial Study Promotion Association for a long time, in the context of the complicated situation of the Covid 19 epidemic, Vedan Vietnam still contribute to support the Study Promotion Fund of 150,000,000 VND. With the motto “Development from society – Dedication to society”, talent training and development is always focused at Vedan Company, with the desire to continue contributing efforts to the training of high-quality human resources for Dong Nai province in particular and Vietnam in general.
