On April 28, 2021, Vedan Vietnam solemnly celebrated the ceremony awarding medals to honor the dedication and achievements of 139 employees (including 42 employees with 20 years seniority and 97 employees with 25 years seniority – by the end of 2020). This is an annual activity organized by the company since 2013.
After 30 years of establishment and development in Vietnam, Vedan currently has about 3,600 Vietnamese employees. By the end of 2020, the company awarded more than 1,230 medals to employees with more than 20 years of experience. This demonstrates the strong cohesion between employees and the company; many of them found their companion at the common house Vedan Vietnam. Up to now, the 2nd generation has been following in their father’s footsteps to work together with the company.
At the ceremony, Mr. Yang Kun Hsiang (Vice Chairman cum General Director of Vedan Vietnam) said: Employees are the most valuable asset of the company, we are very happy and grateful for the commitment – dedication of talent and energy of the staff over the years … Vedan always welcomes and is proud of the 2nd and 3rd generation who have studied well and then come back to build an increasingly strong and developed company. Besides, he also did not forget to remind employees to continue raising their vigilance and do well in the prevention of Covid 19.
On behalf of 139 employees, Mr. Ha Vu Huan Chuong (by-product processing plant) emotionally shared: “Thank you very much to the company which 25 years ago created opportunity for us to work and develop career in Vedan Vietnam. During the working process, we always thank the sharing from our colleagues, managers … who have always cared and helped, created conditions for us to complete the assigned tasks well, improved skills … we always consider this place as our family, our second home … ”
Along with the positive activities of the labor union, party committee, youth union … the care for life and spirit of the company’s employees has always been concerned and well implemented by Vedan Vietnam. In addition to providing free meals for 3 shifts, the company has dormitories for remote workers, shuttle bus, sports facilities, clinics… Each year, the company has 2 times adjusting salary for employees, organizes a vacation for employees… The gratitude ceremony to employees dedicating the company for 20&25 years shows the care of the Board of Directors of Vedan Vietnam and at the same time brings spiritual values, creating strong motivation for the staff to long-term commitment to the company. Solidarity and unremitting efforts have created a strong Vedan Vietnam.
Officially established in Vietnam since 1991, after 30 years of continuous striving and efforts, with the unanimous effort of the board of directors and all employees … Vedan Vietnam has achieved a lot of important achievements of national and international stature, which is worthy of the title “Enterprise for employees.
