On February 13, at Long Son commune, Vung Tau city, Vedan Vietnam Company, in collaboration with the Go Dau Port Border Guard Station, presented the “Comrade House” to the family of Lieutenant Truong Duc Quan (scout soldier of Long Son border guard station) who has housing difficulty. The house with an area of 70m2 is sponsored by Vedan Vietnam Company with VND 50 million, the rest is contributed by the family and his colleagues.
The program of giving houses (Red Cross houses, charitable houses, great unity houses, comrade houses…) is a practical social activity of Vedan Vietnam company that shows interest in the community and joins hands with the community agencies and departments take care of the lives of people in difficult circumstances, families under preferential treatment policies, and soldiers who are having difficulty with housing in Dong Nai province and neighboring provinces. For more than 10 years of organizing the program, nearly 250 houses with a budget of VND 50 million each have been donated by the company.
At the handover ceremony, Mr. Quach Chan That (representative of Vedan Vietnam Company) said: With the spirit of Love & Care, Vedan Vietnam always cares and wishes to help people under difficult circumstances, takes care of the community’s health, provides supports to students to go to school…, building a “Comrade house” is also one of the annual activities of the company, we hope these warm and happy houses will give strength and encourage the soldiers to do well in their assigned tasks.”
In 2020, Vedan Vietnam will continue building and donating 22 houses in Dong Nai province and surrounding areas. With the motto “Development from society, dedication to society”, Vedan Vietnam always maintains its commitment to be one of enterprises with many practical social activities contributing to improve and enhance the community’s life.
