Vedan Vietnam Company built to give 25 houses of affection for families in difficult circumstances on housing

On Nov 4^th, 2016, Vedan Vietnam Company in coordination with Phuoc Thai commune People’s Committee, the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Thai commune held to give 3 houses of affection to poor households in Phuoc Thai commune (Long Thanh – Dong Nai). Participants of the program included representatives of Vedan Vietnam Company, leaders of the commune People’s Committee, the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Thai commune, authorities and local people participated in the event.

Promoting the spirit of solidarity, Vedan Vietnam Company for many years has had practical social activities showed through concerns on the community, caring life of families in difficult circumstances on housing, difficult policy families. Only in 2016 in private, Vedan Vietnam has built to give 25 houses of affection (each house worth VBN50 million) with total costs of more than VND1 billion for poor households in 4 provinces: Dong Nai, Ba Ria Vung Tau, Binh Phuoc and Ha Tinh.

This is annual activity in accordance with spirit and dedication of Vedan Vietnam in journey of sharing, connecting and creating conditions for subjects in difficult circumstances housing in Vietnam society. During the last 7 years, the company has invested more than VND5 billion to build 175 houses of affection for the poor.

Since the first days investing to develop in Vietnam to now, each year, Vedan Vietnam has actively participated and deployed effectively social activities such as: offering scholarships for needy students; holding the program “New Year every home”, holding free medical check-ups, contributing money to care policy families…
