Ending the exciting academic year 2017-2018, the Labor Union and the Board of Directors of Vedan Vietnam Company (Vedan Vietnam) organized to commend and reward 690 children of employees for their excellent achievements in the last academic year.
To start a meaningful summer, 690 children of employees with excellent academic achievements (including 133 with excellent achievements) have won prizes at school, district, provincial and national competitions… or participated and won many awards in sports activities, singing performances… or subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Foreign Languages… were commended and received commendation gifts from Vedan Vietnam.
In order to encourage the spirit of learning, each student will receive a scholarship worth from 500,000 VND to over 1 million VND, depending on the level of study. With a total reward of nearly 100 million VND, the program to commend and reward the children of employees who have achieved good and excellent achievements is a meaningful activity, which Vedan Vietnam has maintained annually from 2014 to present in order to encourage the spirit of excellence the spirit of learning promotion, promoting the rise of the young generation.
Sharing at the program, Mr. Ko Chung Chih – Deputy General Director of Vedan Vietnam said: “Children who do well and study well are the pride of parents and a very encouraging thing. In addition to creating a healthy and stable working environment for employees, Vedan Vietnam also cares a lot about their families and children, so the company often creates useful playgrounds for them to have the opportunity to meet and have fun on holidays. We hope that the study promotion programs will bring many meanings to the students. We are ready to welcome them and create opportunities for them to return to work and continue to work with Vedan Vietnam after they grow up.”
The commendation program took place in a joyful and excited atmosphere. Mr. Pham Trung Thuyen (Chairman of Vedan Vietnam Labor Union) said, “Through these practical activities, Vedan Vietnam wants to show the attention of leaders at all levels to each employee’s family and wishes to co-operate with each other accompanying employees in caring for and educating the next generation, thereby, contributing to the general progress of society”.
