On November 26, 2019, at the Announcement Ceremony of Program on Benchmarking and Announcing Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam 2019″, Vedan Vietnam Company was just honored “Sustainable Enterprise”. This is a proud title, recognizing the contributions of pioneering enterprises to the sustainable development of the Vietnamese enterprise community.
Implementing the Government’s direction in Notice No. 398/TB-VPCP dated December 15, 2015 on the Assessing and Ranking sustainable businesses in Vietnam from 2016, aiming to promote the sustainable development of the Vietnamese enterprise community. After three successful events, this year, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor organized the Program to assessing and ranking sustainable enterprises in Vietnam in 2019. The aim is to open new business opportunities for enterprises through increasing the trust of partners, investors and shareholders. …; at the same time, strengthen exchange and cooperation on development in the business community, thereby improving the competitiveness of enterprises in the context of current international economic integration.
Participating in investing in Vietnam since 1991, Vedan Vietnam has determined the goal of “Deep-rooting in Vietnam – Doing long-term business “. For many years, Vedan has accompanied and carried out social activities such as awarding scholarships, building charitable houses, supporting people in flood-hit areas, Tet gifts for the poor, along with the program of free medical examination and medicine distribution for people in remote areas for 8 consecutive years (2012-2019).
The event of being recognized as a “Sustainable Enterprise in 2019” partly affirms the value of Vedan Vietnam in the company’s development journey, and is also a motivation for Vedan to continue striving to become a leading prestigious brand, bringing good value to consumers.
