With the epidemic situation increasing in many provinces and cities (especially at a time when the environment and climate have many complicated changes at the end of the year), environmental protection and public health are the goals that need the cooperation of businesses, agencies, organizations … in society. For many years, Vedan Vietnam Company has accompanied the Red Cross Society of Long Thanh district to organize spraying to prevent hand – foot – mouth disease and dengue fever at schools in Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province.
With the policy “Care for environment and Sustainable operation” and the occupational health and safety policy “Safe company – Healthy people” according to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, Vedan Viet’s top goal related to environmental protection is to protect and improve the health of company employees and people in the province.
The organization of spraying and preventing diseases (especially dengue) at kindergartens, primary schools and junior high schools in Long Thanh district is one of the annual activities of Vedan Vietnam in the past few years. This year, with a budget of more than VND 81 million and 400 liters of Javel produced by the company, the program will be implemented from September 8 to 21, 2019 (on Saturdays and Sundays to ensure the safety of students.)
