Vedan Vietnam delivers over 1,000 Tet gifts to disadvantaged households for Lunar New Year 2026

From February 4 to February 9, 2026, Vedan Vietnam Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the Red Cross, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of Phuoc Thai Commune and Dong Phu Commune (Dong Nai Province), as well as Phu My Ward (Ho Chi Minh City), distributed more than 1,000 Tet gift packages to underprivileged households.

This is one of the company’s long-standing annual initiatives, consistently carried out over many years under the guiding principle: “Developing from society, contributing to society.”

Each Tet gift package included rice and essential seasonings produced by Vedan Vietnam, such as monosodium glutamate, seasoning powder, chili sauce, and fish sauce—helping to meet the daily needs of families during the Lunar New Year. Beyond material support, the activity reflects the care, connection, and social responsibility of Vedan Vietnam’s employees toward the community.

Personally handing out gifts to local residents, Mrs. Yang Nai Hsuan, Special Assistant to the Office of the General Director, shared: “Guided by our vision of ‘Continuously delivering a healthier and tastier new life for everyone,’ Vedan Vietnam considers compassion and sharing to be core elements of our business philosophy. Providing Tet gifts and accompanying local communities in celebrating a warm and fulfilling New Year, though a small effort, is an essential part of our long-term commitment to Vietnam. We hope these gifts will bring a little more warmth and joy, helping families welcome the New Year with greater happiness.”

As of 2026, Vedan Vietnam has marked 35 years of operation and development in Vietnam, with more than 3,800 employees. From being one of the pioneering FDI enterprises investing in Vietnam, the company has grown into a leading manufacturer in the food and seasoning industry, earning the trust of consumers through quality products, reasonable pricing, and flavors tailored to Vietnamese tastes.

In addition to its business operations, Vedan Vietnam places strong emphasis on employee well-being. Each year, especially during Tet, the company organizes various meaningful activities such as spring-themed competitions, five-fruit tray decoration contests, traditional cake-making contests (Banh Chung and Banh Tet), and gift-giving programs for workers who are unable to return home for the holiday.
