Approved by Dong Nai People’s Committee, the provincial department of health, People’s Committees of districts of Tan Phu, Dinh Quan and Long Khanh town, from June 29th to July 1st, 2016, Vedan Vietnam Enterprise conjunction with Vinh Dan Hospital General (Taiwan) held the program of free medical check-ups for nearly 2,000 people in districts of Tan Phu, Dinh Quan and Long Khanh town, Dong Nai province. Total cost for the program of free medical check-ups this year is more than VND2 billion, funded by Vedan Vietnam company.
In the heart of solidarity, sharing sweet taste and promoting the tradition of “The good leaves protect the worn-out leaves”, in Vedan Vietnam company, addition to stabilize and develop well production and business activities to create prestigious products with high quality to supply for domestic consumers and exports, Vedan Vietnam company is also known as one of Vietnamese enterprises that always respects to CSR to local people with specific activities such as: building houses of gratitude, houses of affection; giving scholarships for students in difficult circumstance; funding costs for heart surgery for children with congenital heart disease; free medical check-ups for people…, which bring high human values, increase life of families in difficult circumstances. This is the fifth year in a row the company funding and cooperating with Vinh Dan Hospital General (Taiwan) to hold the program of free medical check-ups for people in Dong Nai province and desires to join hands and care for people’s health in Dong Nai.
With this year program of free medical check-ups, nearly 2,000 people felt really pleased and happy when registered for treatment. The organization board guided and helped enthusiastically for people to be examined and receive medicines in the soonest time; foreign doctors heartedly examined and consulted healthcare for people in daily life. In addition, some cases that are serious diseases or needed urgent treatment were recommended transferring to a higher level of care for treatment.
The organization board invited 27 foreign doctors and nurses; of them 11 doctors are General Internal Medicine; Pediatrics; Dermatology; the musculoskeletal; obstetrics and gynecology; Ear, Nose and Throat; Rehabilitation… who have experience in examining and treating diseases and very prestigious in Taiwan, and with medicines imported from Taiwan to deliver freely for people.
In particular, in this year, Vedan Vietnam not only funded for the program of free medical check-ups for people, on this occasion, the company also signed the memorandum in which each year, the company would fund for 5 doctors in Dong Nai to go to Taiwan in order to learn experience, increase skills in examination and treatment for people.
Also on the occasion Vedan Vietnam Company held the program of free medical check-ups for people in the province, Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee awarded for 2 collectives and 2 leaders of Vedan Vietnam and Vinh Dan Hospital General for their contributions to CSR activities in Dong Nai.
Thus, with its practical action programs, Vedan Vietnam is expected to bring Vietnamese people better things in life. Vedan will continue further contributing to Vietnamese people and accompany with people towards a life with joys, happiness and health with message: “Vedan creates health and delicious life”.
