On the evening of December 10, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) held a ceremony to announce a list of top 100 sustainable enterprises in Viet Nam.
With a lot of efforts, Vedan Vietnam has steadily maintained its growth rate and was recognized as one of the Top 100 Sustainable Enterprises in 2020.
The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, launched the sustainability rating program for 2020. This is a proud title because enterprises have to pass a series of strict business development targets of the Government, ministries, and departments … for 3 factors: economy, society and environment.
Selected units are pioneer enterprises with excellent achievements in sustainable development. As for Vedan Vietnam, the recognition of this title for 2 consecutive years is a testament to the business development goal: maintaining economic activities while preserving long-term values such as landscape-environment and at the same time contribute to the development of society. This is not an easy path for enterprises, especially when their business activities are severely affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.
On the threshold of the 30th anniversary (since 1991), the title of top 100 sustainable enterprises in 2020 is an affirmation of Vedan Vietnam for the belief of millions of consumers who have always supported and trusted Vedan brand throughout the past. At the same time, it is also the motivation for the company to continue to be consistent with the sustainable development orientation in the coming future.
