On May 8, Vedan Vietnam attended the launching ceremony of “Humanity Month” of the Vietnam Red Cross Society and presented 2 houses to people with extremely difficult circumstances in Dong Nai province.
“Humanitarian Month” is a meaningful program, part of a series of activities marking the 157th Anniversary International Red Cross and Red Crescent Day and the 130th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh – the founder and first honorary president of the Vietnam Red Cross Society. This is an opportunity for thousands of people in difficult circumstances to receive humanitarian assistance from the Red Cross, with the help of donors.
On this occasion, Vedan Vietnam Company contributed 2 Red Cross houses with a budget of VND 100 million to accompany the Red Cross Society of Dong Nai province in taking care of especially difficult circumstances, helping them to settle down.
With the motto “Development from society – Dedication to society”, volunteering activities to care and improve people’s health are always paid special attention by Vedan Company. Organizing free medical examination, medicine distribution; building houses of love; awarding scholarships; giving Tet gifts to people in difficult circumstances… are the annual activities of the company for many years.
The joint contribution of the whole society in general and of Vedan Vietnam – the business community in particular will contribute to promote the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, help to soon reverse the epidemic and minimize the circumstances difficulties in society.
