Vedan Vietnam presents charitable house to disadvantaged household in Tan Hiep commune, Dong Nai province

On July 20, Vedan Vietnam Company accompanied with the Women’s Union of Long Thanh district, representatives of the Party Committee – People’s Council – People’s Committee – Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Hiep commune, representatives of mass organizations and Long Thanh District Social Charity Branch made the decision to give charitable house to the family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Trung (living in Hamlet 2, Tan Hiep Commune, Long Thanh District, Dong Nai Province). The house was built with a cost of 55 million VND (of which 50 million VND was sponsored by Vedan company, the rest was contributed by the family).

Mrs.Trung’s family has 4 members: Her husband is the main laborer, currently working as an assistant at construction sites, with a precarious income. She has 2 children, one of which is 15 years old who has mental retardation, just hanging around at home. Ms. Trung herself is an orphan. Since she was a child, she suffered from a congenital heart disease. Her health only allows her to work as an hourly maid for families near her home. As a result, the family situation became increasingly difficult.
