Vedan Vietnam Supports “Green Dong Nai Week” 2025

On the morning of May 31, in Dinh Quan District, Dong Nai Province, Vedan Vietnam participated in the launch ceremony of “Green Dong Nai Week” organized by the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dong Nai Province in response to World Environment Day (June 5). The event aims to call on the community to adopt environmentally friendly lifestyles and take positive, responsible actions for a greener future.

This year, World Environment Day, initiated by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), is themed “Beat Plastic Pollution”, urging global communities to take action against plastic waste. Vedan has been a pioneering enterprise in supporting and accompanying the “Green Dong Nai Week” since its inception. In 2025, Vedan continued its contribution with VND 80 million, which includes funding for planting 200 trees and donating practical consumer products such as seasoning granules, fish sauce, oyster sauce, chili sauce, Vedan More cakes, and spicy large-strand snack noodles. These were part of the “Exchange Waste for Gifts” program, encouraging the public to bring in recyclable, hazardous, and electronic waste to receive gifts, aiming to promote the habit of waste sorting.

With its policies “Protecting environment – Sustainable Business” and “Safe Company – Healthy People,” aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, Vedan Vietnam actively promotes environmental awareness among its employees. The company emphasizes the harmful effects of plastic waste, encourages reduced use of single-use items like bottles and plastic bags, and promotes water conservation and renewable energy usage. Staying true to its mission of “Needs drive innovation, and together with integrity and goodwill, we create prosperity,” Vedan not only implements new technologies to reduce environmental impact in production but also encourages employees to build green, clean, and safe living and working spaces.

As a company that has been rooted in Dong Nai for over 33 years and considers the province its second home, Vedan Vietnam consistently demonstrates environmental responsibility in every production and business activity. This not only reflects its corporate accountability but also the company’s heartfelt commitment to contributing to a prosperous, greener, and cleaner Dong Nai.
