With message “Women are half the world”, accepted by Board of Directors, on morning March 8, 2017, Labor Union of Vedan Vietnam held the program to honor women on the International Women’s Day March 8 with many meaningful activities.
By deeply moved emotionally, Mr. Ko Chung Chih – Deputy General Director of the company on behalf of “the male” of Vedan Vietnam family sent to all female staffs of Vedan Vietnam wishes of health, happy families and complete success in both roles of “work” and “housework”. Addition to recognize contributions of female staffs in the company, Board of Directors of the company also hoped all female staffs of the company constantly improve professional knowledge, actively participate in all activities of the company in order to affirm, promote their roles, contribute towards the goal Vedan Vietnam further sustainable development.
The International Women’s Day March 8 has long been a cultural feature of Vedan Vietnam. There were 17 teams participating in this year competition of cooking and art of flower arrangement that represented plants and departments within the company.
The cooking competition with topic “Family meal – Vedan flavor”, materials were provided by the organizers. Within 60 minutes, the teams brought meals with sufficient nutrients, ensured food safety and hygiene, a lot of ideas on decoration and names of dishes, and meaningful presentations on March 8.
The competition of flower arrangement with topic “Mother”, the teams created art products of unique and colorful flower arrangements. Each product was presented with a private style, but still towards the general topic of honoring the mother who represent Vietnamese women.
The competition was closed with smiles, joyful memories, and close moments together as a family, which surely remain in mind of each Vedan Vietnam member. The competition not only showed concerns of the company Board of Directors, the company Labor Union to all staffs but also brought atmosphere comfortable, joyful, connecting Vedan Vietnam member towards to build the company own culture, in order to serve for development of the company and confirm its position on the market.
