At the 2025 Vietfish Exhibition, Vedan Vietnam – a company that has established deep roots in Vietnam over the past 34 years – demonstrated its growing commitment to the frozen food industry. While Vedan is commonly known for its MSG and seasoning products, its diverse display of frozen foods at the exhibition clearly signals a strategic push into the frozen food sector. Vedan stated: “The core value of the Vedan brand is it’s our pleasure to make food delicious. Therefore, all future products will adhere to this core value as we continue to launch a variety of offerings, whether in seasonings or frozen foods.”
In the product development of frozen foods, Vedan collaborated with renowned Taiwanese chef – Mr. Chia-Mo Chen, one of Taiwan’s top four culinary masters – to provide guidance in R&D. One of the standout products is “Vedan Sichuan Sauerkraut Fish” which combines internationally renowned cuisine with local Vietnamese ingredients such as pepper, Sichuan peppercorn, and rice noodles. Another upcoming product, the “Vedan Lion Head Crab Meat Balls”, a signature dish that combines the essence of both seafood and meat.
At the same time, the well-received “Vedan Golden Fish Balls” initially launched with a salted egg yolk filling, are now available in two new flavors: cheese filling, mushroom and pork filling. These new versions offer a delightful multi-layered flavor experience. Besides that, the exhibition featured international-style frozen dishes such as Japanese Takoyaki, Korean Chijimi and Taiwanese Moon Cuttle Shrimp Cake. These products are strictly selected from local Vietnamese aquatic products and ingredients.
In addition, Vedan continues to broaden its frozen food portfolio to include value -added meat products, and ready-to-eat meals. The popular “Vedan Taiwanese Sausage” has been launched in various markets and promotion activities and is well-liked. There is also the “Taiwanese Crispy Fried Chicken” that can be eaten everywhere in the Taiwan night market. After improvements, “Vedan Taiwanese Crispy Fried Chicken” has officially launched in the Vietnamese market. Beyond the familiar condiments like chili sauce or pepper powder, Vedan also promotes an authentic Taiwanese twist: enjoying the dish with fried basil, a distinctive herb that imparts a uniquely Taiwanese flavor and elevates the dish’s soul.
Vedan Vietnam continues to lead innovation in the frozen food sector, earning strong recognition from both domestic and international audiences at the Vietfish 2025 exhibition.
