On the morning of March 7, 2026, the Board of Directors and the Trade Union of Vedan Vietnam Co., Ltd. organized a tug-of-war and cooking competition for employees in celebration of International Women’s Day. This annual event aims to honor the valuable contributions of female employees while fostering interaction, connection, and team spirit among all staff members.
From early morning, the tug-of-war competition area was filled with excitement, featuring 28 teams (14 men’s teams and 14 women’s teams) representing various departments across the company. The matches were highly competitive and evenly matched, showcasing strength, teamwork, and seamless coordination among participants. Enthusiastic cheers from supporters further energized the atmosphere, creating a vibrant and unified spirit throughout the event.
At the same time, the cooking competition brought together 12 teams to showcase their culinary skills, presenting well-balanced meals rich in color, aroma, and flavor. Under the theme “Delicious Vedan Meals” for six people, teams prepared diverse menus within a set time frame, incorporating Vedan seasonings to create nutritious and appealing dishes. In addition to food quality, many teams demonstrated creativity in presentation and menu design, ensuring both nutritional balance and cost efficiency. The presence of professional chefs from the Dong Nai Culinary Association, along with judges from the Cultural and Sports Division of Long Thanh Commune, ensured objective and professional evaluation, while also providing valuable insights and practical experience to participants.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Pham Trung Thuyen, Chairman of the Trade Union of Vedan Vietnam, stated:
“The March 8 celebration is an opportunity for all members of the Vedan Vietnam family to meet, interact, and strengthen bonds through shared experiences. It is also a time for each employee to practice and promote our core values—‘Integrity – Innovation – Accountability – Excellence’—both in work and in collective activities. These values form a strong foundation that enables Vedan Vietnam to continuously deliver high-quality products and contribute positively to the community.”
During the event, representatives of the Board of Directors extended their best wishes to all female employees on International Women’s Day, expressing deep appreciation for their dedication and long-term commitment. The leadership also encouraged them to remain resilient and confident, reaffirming that Vedan Vietnam will continue to support employees in both their professional and personal lives.
