In today’s highly competitive and rapidly changing market, R&D plays a vital role for a company’s sustainable development and innovative transformation. It is not only responsible for product innovation and technology upgrades, but also acts as a bridge between markets demands and production implementation.
Department of Research and Development for Starch Derivatives Business is engaged in the research, development and optimization of starch-related products and its process. With continuously broadening the expertise and technical capabilities, the R&D team can quickly grasp the market trends, meet the customers’ demands, and even rise to the top of its kind.
Since its establishment in 2017, our department has been committed to developing new products and technologies in response to market trends and consumers’ health-oriented demands by continuously exploring new materials and technologies. Meanwhile, we continuously seek out to optimize and advance the existing processes and materials to enhance product’s quality and functionality. R&D’s activities are deeply integrated with the Sales Department, assisting in visiting customers to provide product information and application demonstration as well as sample development. It also works closely with production sites and the related departments to ensure product quality and the feasibility of new product research.
Based on the information from Sale Department or customers, formula optimization and technical analysis are promptly conducted to assist in handling the product and technical issues in order to fulfill customers’ satisfaction.
Moreover, we actively participate in both of pilot and mass production, ensuring the R&D results are seamlessly transformed into stable production capacity and competitive products to support the company’s growth strategy and goals.
Our department has two specialized R&D laboratories with distinct functions and professional equipments:
- Analytical laboratory: Equipped with modern machines such as Kjeldahl nitrogen system, particle size analyzer, microscope, high-pressure homogenizer, etc. It focuses on product functionality analysis and physicochemical property testing, providing a strong technical foundation for the quality improvement of existing products and the development of the new.

- Application laboratory: Equipped with kitchen machines, oven, vacuum emulsifier, granulator, texture analyzer, viscometer, and other modern equipments. Being able to quickly develop samples and simulate the process of mass production based on the customers’ needs and the development strategies of Sales Department.

Our department focuses on developing health-oriented food products, with strong research and development capabilities. It is also capable of creating high-functionality, high-quality products that meet modern consumers’ expectation for nutrition, naturalness and safety. Meanwhile, it continuously generates value and trust for the company.
In the future, our department will continue to strengthen our R&D capacity and to broaden its diversity, becoming a solid support for the company on its journey toward health-focused, high-value, and internationalized development.
