On December 25, Vedan Vietnam Company accompanied the Study Promotion Association of Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province to organize a scholarship awarding ceremony for students who “overcome difficulties to study” and “keep going to school” for the school year 2021-2022.
Started in 2013, this is one of the activities that Vedan Vietnam has maintained steadily for the past 9 years. Every year, Vedan Vietnam cooperates with the Study Promotion Association of Long Thanh district to award scholarships with a total value of 110 million VND (of which 100 million VND is for scholarships and 10 million VND is to support organizational costs) to students, who have extremely difficult circumstances, some are orphans of both parents, some have disabilities, but they all have one thing in common: they always overcome difficulties and rise up in their studies.
Through this activity, Vedan Vietnam wishes to be able to contribute a part of its efforts, share some of the difficulties and encourage the spirit to be able to help and accompany the children on the path to conquer knowledge and dream wings. Besides, Vedan Vietnam also wishes to spread positive energy, so that more and more businesses, sponsors and benefactors can participate in helping and supporting future generations of the country.
In the context of complicated developments of the Covid 19 epidemic, like many other businesses, Vedan Vietnam Company has been facing many difficulties in production and business activities. However, the awarding of study promotion scholarships has always been an indispensable part for the company to send a meaningful message “Thank you Vietnam – firmly moving forward” – towards the 30th anniversary of Vedan Vietnam’s establishment (since 1991).
