In the context of the complicated development of the Covid-19 epidemic, the sense of health protection and the spirit of joining hands to fight the disease of each individual and organization play an important role in preventing the spread of the epidemic.
As one of the large-scale enterprises in Dong Nai province, right from the early days of February 2020, Vedan Vietnam Company quickly planned and implemented many measures to prevent and limit the epidemic in the enterprise. All guests and workers must have their body temperature checked, disinfected… before entering the company. Regulations on wearing masks, not gathering in large groups, distributing masks, distributing hand sanitizer to employees, propagandizing and mobilizing people to limit movement to ensure safety during the epidemic season, health enhance… were applied early and seriously by the company.
Not only did the epidemic prevention and control work well, in March 2020, Vedan Vietnam took the initiative to “rescue agricultural products” for people growing mango in Vinh Cuu district. With the companion of the preventive medicine center of Long Thanh district, 3,200 liters of Javen have been sponsored by Vedan Vietnam to disinfect 1,605 classrooms of kindergarten, primary and secondary schools in Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province. In April 2020, the company continued to donate 1,200 liters of Javen to the Red Cross Society of Dinh Quan district, Dong Nai province to distribute to 101 school units, agencies and businesses of the district to carry out the work of eliminating toxic, disinfectant. This is a practical activity, contributing to protect the health of the community during the epidemic.
Together with the whole country, responding to the call from the Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province (through the Department of Health of Dong Nai province), Vedan Vietnam has contributed VND 100 million to the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic, in order to support the local community units and individuals who are directly engaged in epidemic prevention and control – treatment and monitoring of epidemics in isolated areas and helping patients who need the community’s help for treatment. Not stopping there, Vedan also accompanies the Taiwan Trade Association in Vietnam, Vedan has contributed VND 100 million to the fund “Supporting the Vietnamese Government together with the prevention of Covid 19”.
With the motto “Care for environment and Sustainable operation” and the occupational health and safety policy: “Safe company – Healthy people” according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, all employees of Vedan Vietnam Company has been making efforts to join hands with the community to repel and decisively defeat the Covid-19 epidemic.
