On June 23, 2019 in Hanoi, Vedan Vietnam was honored to receive the 2018 National Quality Gold Award awarded by the Prime Minister to enterprises and organizations with excellent achievements in production, sales and improve product quality. Previously, Vedan has twice received the Vietnam Quality Gold Award (the precursor to the National Quality Award) in 2002 and 2004 by the Ministry of Science and Technology. This result is a testament to Vedan Vietnam’s comprehensive development efforts in business activities as well as continuous innovation to bring quality products to meet the rigorous demands of consumers.
Steady growth, affirming position
In 2018, overcoming many challenges, thanks to the right orientations, Vedan Vietnam continued achieving its business plan and set goals. The company’s products are also widely accepted by domestic market as well as international market in Asian countries, USA, Japan, EU.
After 28 years of doing business in Vietnam, Vedan Vietnam has grown steadily, maintaining its leading position in the field of spice production – processed foods and being a pioneer in the field of using advanced biotechnology – fermentation technology to create many high-value products to meet market demand.
Conquering the National Quality Award
Vedan Vietnam is one of 22 enterprises to receive the 2018 National Quality Gold Award. This is the only quality award decided by the Prime Minister and under the International Asian-Pacific Quality Awards system. To achieve this award, businesses must be rigorously evaluated according to 7 criteria including: Leadership role of the organization; Operational strategy; customer-centered and market-oriented policy; Measure, analyze and knowledge management; Management and development of human resources; Operational Process Management and performance result.
In each criterion, Vedan Vietnam has made continuous efforts to meet the State’s regulations related to: production and business, tax, insurance… Besides, working environment conditions and Social responsibility to the community is always improved by Vedan year by year to come closer to the mission “Innovating a healthy and delicious life“.
Among the evaluation criteria, Performance result is the most important criterion, comprehensive assessment of products – customer-centered – finance – market – human resources – operational efficiency – leadership role of Vedan. In the past year, Vedan has recorded many remarkable results such as: The quality stability of products has improved, customer feedback is increasingly positive. Every 6 months, Vedan measures customers’ opinions through direct questionnaires with various criteria: promotion, advertising, display, product quality, delivery…
