On 01 19th, 2017, Vietnam Report in collaboration with VietnamNet officially announced the 500 largest Vietnamese enterprises list (VNR500) in 2016. This is the 10th year VNR500 was officially announced in order to honor businesses have achieved outstanding achievements in production and business activities in fiscal year 2016.
Following successes of 2016, right from early days of 2017, Vedan Vietnam continuously gained certificate Top 500 largest Vietnamese enterprises (VNR500) in 2016. This is the fifth year in a row Vedan Vietnam won this award.
VNR 500 ranking is based on the results of research and independent evaluation of the model of Vietnam Report Fortune 500 and officially announced for the first time in 2007.
During 10 years of construction and development of the brand VNR 500, a model that connects large enterprises, these enterprises represent the entire economy of Vietnam was formed and expanded constantly over the years.
The Top 500 Largest Enterprises list is a reputation ranking program with the consultant of Vietnamese and international experts, professors from the world leading well-known universities. Criteria is based on revenue, profits, assets, owners’ equity, number of employees… of leading companies in all economic sectors. This is the fifth year Vedan Vietnam gained the Certificate VNR500. That does not only confirm the prestige and magnitude of the brand but also shows the position of Vedan Vietnam in the overall picture of Vietnam’s economy that has Vedan’s contributions – a brand representing for sector of MSG and seasoning in Vietnam.
In 2016, operation in the economy’s general difficult context, the country had to face with many difficulties, challenges, closely following business goals, Vedan Vietnam maintained reasonable growth and achieved goals and targets in business plan, continued confirming its position in VNR500 in 2016 – Top 500 largest Vietnamese enterprises.
Addition to business tasks, Vedan Vietnam also implemented social responsibilities of a large enterprise through charitable activities and social security such as housing for the poor, free medical check-ups… Annually, Vedan Vietnam spends about VND5 billion for social security activities, prioritize to sectors of health, education, sustainable poverty reduction…
Ending 2016, Vedan Vietnam achieved great successes in business efficiency as well as in social charitable acidities. This is also the year Vedan was honored with many prestigious awards in the domestic such as: won Certificate of Vietnamese High-Quality Goods, Vedagro product won Certificate of the 2016 Vietnam golden agricultural brand, won title of typical agricultural products in 2015, “Vietnam Top 100 leading brands – Vietnam Top 100 Gold Products, Gold Services 2016”, and many certificates of merit given by Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee and other departments and agencies at all levels.
To 2017, Vedan Vietnam determines new business strategy, more dynamic and innovative as well as continues business mission towards to target of taking responsibilities to the community and environment. Vedan Vietnam has continuously strived in order to improve product quality to respond to the trust and support of the society, the community, the majority of customers in the domestic and abroad. And it’s sure that in the next development period, Vedan Vietnam will further contribute to the agricultural and rural industrialization and modernization process of Vietnam economy.
