On June 26, 2020, Vedan Vietnam Company has just cooperated with the fire prevention and fire fighting police team in Long Thanh District to organize a large-scale practice of fire fighting and rescue plans.
This is an annual event organized by Vedan Vietnam to increase awareness, situational skills and proficiency in using rescue equipment for the company’s staff.
Right from the early morning, the company’s fire prevention and fighting team, medical staffs, and ambulances were arranged at the MSG finished product warehouse where fire prevention and fighting training was held. The rehearsal was organized very methodically and professionally to ensure the safety of all staffs and the organization area.
Participating in the training session, officers from the Long Thanh District fire prevention and fire fighting police team shared their theoretical knowledge when a fire occurred, along with practicing simulated fire situations and rescuing injured people in emergency situations.
The fire situation set at the MSG finished product warehouse is assumed to be 2 smoke balls. Each group of 6 officers and employees will be instructed to use fire extinguishers and fire hydrants to quickly control the fire. The members are divided into the task of fighting the fire, removing the property by forklift and sounding the fire alarm.
In the next assumed situation, one of the two people dislocated a leg when operating the fire extinguisher, the other person helped the injured person away from the fire to a safe place to wait for the ambulance to come to the rescue.
According to the assumed situations, the company’s fire prevention and fighting team needed help from the Dong Nai Fire Fighting and Prevention Police in terms of human and material resources to support the fire fighting. Through many different situations, the fire was safely extinguished and left many valuable experiences for those participating in fire prevention and fighting practice.
Dong Nai is an area with many factories, production facilities, and warehouses, so fire prevention and fighting activities need to be strictly followed to avoid possible bad situations.
