On April 25th and 26th, 2024, the People’s Committee of Tu Mo Rong district organized the International Culinary Competition and set the record for Vietnam with 120 dishes made from ginseng, held in Te Xang commune, Tu Mo Rong district (Kon Tum). The event took place amidst a lively atmosphere filled with the sound of Gong Chieng of the Xo Dang ethnic group.
The event attracted 21 cooking teams from various communes in Tu Mo Rong district and teams from professional chef associations from Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, as well as from neighboring countries such as Laos, Cambodia, France, etc. The chefs predominantly used ginseng from Tu Mo Rong district as the main ingredient to create a variety of dishes with exquisite flavors and beautifully presented arrangements.
