Vedan Vietnam welcomes two student delegations for company visit

On April 16 and 17, Vedan Vietnam hosted two student delegations from the University of International – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Environment) and Ho Chi Minh City Open University (Faculty of Agricultural Biotechnology and Environment Technology) for an on-site company visit. This extracurricular activity for the 2026–2027 academic year aims to enhance students’ practical knowledge and provide them with real-world exposure to working environments in industries related to their fields of study.

After watching an introductory video about the factory, the delegations toured Vedan’s office area, production zones, sports facilities, and dedicated international port. Lecturers and students expressed great interest in the 120-hectare campus, which features abundant greenery, a biological lake system, automated pipeline connections between plants, and a fully closed-loop production system. The UMAMI mini-game also helped students better understand the concept of natural sweetness in food—considered a key to Vedan Vietnam’s success over its 35-year development journey.

With the philosophy that “employees are the company’s most valuable asset,” students were also introduced to Vedan’s welfare policies, training programs, and recruitment activities. This provided them with a comprehensive overview and clearer career orientation for the future. The strong presence of more than 800 experienced employees, many with over 20 years of service, working alongside younger generations is a notable aspect that attracted the students’ attention and reflects Vedan Vietnam’s distinctive corporate culture.

Committed to supporting and empowering young talent, Vedan Vietnam annually collaborates with scholarship associations in Dong Nai Province to provide approximately VND 400 million in scholarships for underprivileged students, reward employees’ children with outstanding academic achievements, and organize hundreds of training sessions each month to enhance skills and knowledge. The company also actively participates in job fairs and regularly welcomes student delegations for career orientation visits. These continuous efforts have contributed to Vedan Vietnam being recognized with multiple awards, including “Employer of Choice,” “Top 10 Best Working Environment Enterprises,” and “Reputable Cultural Enterprise 2025.”
